Albert holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the City University of New York. Albert has worked on a variety of projects with a focus on high-rise building design, modular design, and central plant design. His duties include the design of HVAC and Building Management Controls systems with a focus on sustainability. His attention to detail and cost-conscious approaches enable Owners to work within their budgets through value engineering processes. In addition to managing some of the office’s projects, Albert’s day-to-day duties include the research of new engineering technologies, and keeping abreast with the ever evolving NYC Codes. Albert has over 20 years of experience in the engineering industry. In his free time Albert enjoys hiking, playing piano, and spending time with his four kids. He is currently editing his first book – Barnabas (excerpts available on his personal website – www.albertnzirino.com), and writing his second book – Braid – a detective novel that takes place in the Fourth Dimension.

Oscar holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnic University. Oscar has worked on a broad array of projects in the New York City area with a focus on low and high-rise residential projects, mission critical facilities, commercial interiors, and retail projects. Oscar’s project duties include the design of Electrical Power Distribution Systems, Fire Alarm systems, Short Circuit Studies, Selective Coordination Studies, Electrical Plan Review Applications, Arc Flash Analysis, Lighting Control Systems, and Con Edison Load Letter Applications. Oscar has over 20 years of experience in the engineering industry. Oscar holds a Professional Engineering license in the states of New York and New Jersey and is NABCEP certified. In his free time Oscar enjoys stock trading, traveling, and drawing.

Sam holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the NYU Tandon School of Engineering. Sam is a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers. As the Director of Inspections & Testing services at ANZ, Sam oversees inspections for all of our in-house engineering clients, as well as inspection only clients. Sam also assists in overseeing the mechanical engineering design department. Sam has almost 10 years of experience in the engineering industry having started his career with ANZ. In his free time Sam enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time dreaming in his chemistry lab at home.

Nick holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Finance from Brooklyn College. Since the founding of ANZ, Nick has been an indispensable part of the team. Nick’s responsibilities span financial management, employee benefits, project management, and IT support. We are currently in the process of changing his middle name to Factotum. In his personal time, Nick enjoys sailing, reading, and spending quality time with his wife and children.

Ilco has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Ss Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, Macedonia. He brings more than 10 years of experience in Plumbing/Fire Protection and HVAC Engineering. His experience includes designing projects for residential, commercial and administrative buildings and performing field surveys and regular job-site visits for control and inspection. Ilco has lived in several countries and continents and speaks fluent Macedonian, Serbian, Croatian and Bulgarian, and has a basic understanding of Turkish and Fijian. In his free time Ilco enjoys playing tennis, cooking, traveling and spending time with his wife and two kids.

Sergio holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from City College of New York. His duties include the design of plumbing and fire protection systems. Sergio has experience with DEP filings including cross-connection, site connection, and industrial waste applications. In his free time, Sergio likes to make coffee and play video games.

Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University at Buffalo. His duties include the design of HVAC systems, preparation of load calculations, and CAD drafting. Patrick is ANZ’s Passive House Project team leader, having extensive experience in the design of single and multi-family Passive Houses in the NYC area. In his free time Patrick enjoys going to the gym and playing the guitar.

Erick holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology from the University at New Jersey Institute of Technology. His duties at ANZ include the designs/layouts of Electrical Systems, and Fire Alarm & Safety Systems. In his free time Erick enjoys going to the gym and building his sneaker collection.

James holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Drexel University. James has 15 years of experience in the engineering industry in commercial spaces, healthcare facilities, schools, and residential projects, In his personal time, James likes to ride his bicycle.

Marc holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the New York Institute of Technology. Marc is a member of the American Society of Plumbing Engineers and a member of the National Fire Protection Association. Marc has over 20 years of experience in local and international commercial spaces, healthcare facilities, schools, museums, airports and residential projects, specifying plumbing and fire protection systems while coordinating with electrical and ADA compliance. In his free time, Marc loves to play squash, cook and spend time with his close friends and family.

Nina holds a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from Kharkiv University of Radioelectronics. With over 15 years of experience as a CAD Technician, Nina’s responsibilities include modifying and updating existing designs as needed, and collaborating with engineers or project managers to ensure drawings meet project requirements. Nina loves the work she does and enjoys connecting with new and interesting people. In her personal time, Nina’s passion is baking as it’s a form of meditation for her. She loves spending quality time with friends and sharing good food. Nina also loves traveling and exploring the world with her family.

Alain holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University. His responsibilities include the design of HVAC systems, preparation of load calculations, and CAD drafting. In his personal time Alain loves hiking, reading, and is a huge New York Rangers fan.

Gabriel holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University. Gabriel’s duties include assisting in HVAC design and performing load calculations. In his free time, Gabe enjoys running, hiking, and playing guitar.

Tricia is an experienced office administrator with over 15 years of experience in supporting executives and managing office operations. Outside of work, Tricia enjoys spending time with her family, crocheting, listening to music and tending to the garden.

Betsy holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Bucknell University. Betsy’s career includes engineering, software development, and full charge bookkeeping. Betsy has almost 20 years of experience in bookkeeping while she also continues to work as a freelance software developer. Betsy is responsible for the financial management at ANZ. In her personal time, Betsy enjoys gardening, organizing, reading, and spending time outside, especially with her husband and two children.
